SmartRooms Floor Warming System is an easy, cost effective and efficient way to reap the benefits of a radiant floor heating system without the fuss, complexity and cost of installing a hydronic radiant system. The SmartRooms system is completely concealed, no radiators or registers to contend with and therefore no streaked walls, no drafts, or burning dust on hot pipes. What you do get is a gentle curtain of warmth that spreads evenly throughout the room, free from drafts and dust.

The SmartRooms system can be installed on plywood and concrete for use under tiles or any compatible floor surface. SmartRooms Floor Warming System is ideal under almost any floor covering like natural stone, ceramic, marble, granite, or any other surface that is considered cold.

The SmartRooms system is a factory fabricated electrical heating system. It consists of a high quality alloy resistance wire, electrically insulated for temperatures up to 300°F. The complete heating element has a stainless steel braid covering woven over the entire length to ensure protection but still ensure proper thermal heat transfer. The heating element produces two watts per linear foot when operating.

The SmartRooms system is controlled by the SmartRoom Comfort Controller with a sensing device located under the floor covering and between the heating cables. The controller anticipates when the temperature in the room will drop and thereby counteracts temperature swings ensuring steady, dependable heating comfort. A computerized energy management system, the controller can be programmed for each room according to preference ensuring complete temperature control accuracy regardless of extra inputs or external temperature changes such as sunlight, people coming and going, windows opening and closing, etc.
